Q. What are the Keragen hair fibers made of?

Keragen fibers are made of natural materials. The fibers are charged with a static electric charge to bond to your existing hair. The fibers cosmetically cover up thin hair and does not re-grow your hair. It takes about 1 minute to apply to your hair to have the appearance of fuller, thicker hair.

Q. How does Keragen compare with competitors?

Our fibers are laser cut 5 times thinner than other brands which creates a stronger magnetic bond with you existing hair. Additionally, the fibers are specifically designed with natural variations in the color tones similar to human hairs to create a more natural appearance.

Q. Do I need to use the fiber locking spray or other hairspray?

The fiber locking spray is recommended to increase the fiber bonds. Our spray is specially formulated to increase the static electric bond of the fibers. You may also use your favorite hairspray or gel, we recommend using a flexible hold spray for the best results. If you are using a gel, wait for the gel to completely dry before applying the fibers.

Q.Will the fibers come off on my pillow or clothes?

Since the fibers are infused with a static electric charge, they bond to your existing hair and will adhere to your hair until you shampoo. You can sleep with the fibers in your hair, a few fibers may adhere to your pillow which can be simply brushed away.

Q. How long will a bottle of Keragen last?

Our 28g bottle lasts on average of 1 to 2 months but varies on the amount of coverage needed.

Q. Will Keragen work even if I sweat or are in the rain?

The fibers are resistant to wind, rain and perspiration; however, we recommend that if you go swimming, that you do not fully submerge your head in the water.

Q. Can Keragen be used on scalps which are bald or have very little hair?

Keragen does not work well on scalps which have no hairs since the fibers adhere to your existing hair. Keragen works best on scalps with some existing hair.

Q. Does the fibers work both for men and women?

Yes, our fibers are designed for and works equally well for both men and women.

Q. How long does it take to apply the fibers?

The application process takes approximately 30 seconds.

Q. Will the fibers irate my scalp?

No, the fibers are made from natural materials and contain no harmful additives. The fibers will also not block your existing healthy follicles or slow or interfere with normal hair growth.

Q. Can I sleep with the hair fibers?

Yes, the fibers will stay in place during the night, and can be removed with shampoo.

Q. Can I use Keragen if my hair is greying?

Yes, you can either use your original non-grey color by itself or mix with our gray color.

Q. Can I style my hair after applying the fibers?

Yes, you can style your hair as usual. For best results, we recommend using your fingers and avoid using combs and brushes.

Q. How long does the fibers last?

Each application lasts for a few days until using ordinary shampoo. For longer lasting results, we recommend using our fiber lock spray.

Q. Can I use Keragen and Minoxidil?

Yes, first apply the Minoxidil to your scalp and wait until the scalp is completely dry before applying the fibers.

Yes. If using hair gels or other styling products, wait for styling products to dry before applying the fibers.

Yes, we recommend that you style your hair using these items before applying the fibers to compete your desired look.

Q. Can I use Keragen by myself or does it have to be applied by a hairdresser?

The fibers can be simply applied by standing in front of a mirror. To properly cover areas in the rear of your head, we recommend using a hand-held mirror while standing in front of the mirror.

Q. Can I apply Keragen to wet hair?

No, the fibers must be applied to hair which is fully dry. If applied to wet hair, the fibers will clump together and not adhere to the hair and will look unnatural.

Q. How do I apply the Keragen fibers?

Q. How do I remove the fibers?

The fibers come out with a shampoo wash using any ordinary shampoo.

Q. I am completely bald, will Keragen work?
